It's interesting that you mention that no one talked about the real issues. I've noticed that no one is talking about them because they've all been labeled conspiracy theories all the while people know they are theories no longer. They see, they hear, and they feel the undercurrent. This causes cognitive dissonance in those who know and they refuse to take their minds, and therefore the discussions, in that direction. They would rather do anything else to avoid that discomfort, because to openly acknowledge what they know and what takes them out of their comfort zone means to actually become involved and take action. We have not quite yet reached that threshold of pain to actually address the elephant in the room.
IMO, Q is a huge psyop; one similarly carried out quite successfully in the Soviet Union - keep the masses docile and busy looking for the knight in shining armor riding in for the rescue whilst the evil ones, undeterred, are able to carry on with their plans.
