Sounds like an intriguing adventure—looking forward to Act Three!
My husband and I went through the exact same thing you did with not being able to consume entertainment anymore—not that we have time, anyway! Even just watching a few minutes of a show or movie others are raving about is a jaw-dropping experience because the propaganda is so painfully blatant, we can’t understand how anyone can bear to watch it.
That said, there are untainted works of art that help us see through the immersive lies, and below are a few examples of ones I’ve shared that achieve that rare epiphanic piercing of the veil:
Also, as an actor, you may appreciate the K-drama “Mother” (https://www.viki.com/tv/35736c-mother / I think it may be on Netflix now, but I’m not sure since we don’t have it) as it interweaves references to “King Lear” and “Our Town” throughout and is one of the best-written, best-acted, most compelling television shows ever made.
And thank you for the extraordinary honor of being included in that list of the brave, Elle! Here’s to your own role as a Braver Angel 😇
Thank you once again Margaret Anna Alice for bringing something to my table, where I am so hungry for nourishment! Especially interested in the "Mother" K-drama.
Bravery sort of becomes a learned thing, maybe...I see from you it means sticking to it!
Thank you for your encouragement Joanie. I actually love the falling into the pit of hell, from Charles' film. Not so much of a leap as a letting go. It's always about that, it seems.
Thank you. I like to confess my failings here. I hope it encourages the crestfallen. So fortunate in this telling that I receive the very encouragement I seek to give. I receive yours gratefully.
Goodness, don’t despair! Get some of your readers to attend and‘have your back’. We’ll watch out for you. I’ve been to Gettysburg and it is worth going to see. This sounds like a tremendous project. Will they video it?
Can you come Tea42? haha! I am sure there will some "fellow feeling" at this event. I am just a bit nervous. In my town, I am such a minority viewpoint that I have felt ostracized for awhile now. It has been my life lesson to know my worth when others don't. I will check on the video and see if I can post.
Oh Diane, I love having the words to this song. It is the best, really! I do see the wonderful world. I do believe God has my back. I am also looking for those comrades here on the earth plane, and perhaps will find them at this event, as I stick to "the connection from divine source that precedes, and exceeds and transcends any negative forces we sense at the doorstep." This is so powerful! Thank you for it. I will let you know what garden I find to sit in:)

Bravo to you. The expression "taking a leap of faith" isn't for nothing :^)

So true 😉
Be well Ms. Elle⚡️💪
A Warrior you are to me! Thank you for giving of yourself and God given talents!!

It’d be great fun! I’ve toured the Battlefield and it is truly hallowed ground. I’m up for it- any other readers want to join me?
Beautiful piece , striking honesty. Who has my back , indeed!
I so appreciate your comment about honesty. Thank you so much for your kind words.
